Well done to those who practiced during the week. If you did not manage for whatever reason, please do the tasks in the correct order. Do not attempt the next lesson without having completed last weeks task. This will ensure that you develop the intended skills and motivate you to continue to sharpen your skills.
In our second class, we demonstrated how corrections are done using the 4 principles of analyzing the letters i.e.
- Al-bidaayah / البداية : the beginning or starting point.
- Al-bawsalah / البوصلة: the angle of qalam and angle of stroke.
- Al-masaafah / المسافة : the space or distance of a stroke
- Al-nihaayah / النهاية : the ending of letters or strokes
Keep the above in mind when doing your mashq. Deep practice makes improvement.
